EPACENTER Arts is a new youth arts and music center located in East Palo Alto, CA. The site design is the result of a in depth community engagement process to test and develop the site program elements. At the center of the site, sloped lawn provides and amphitheater space with seating for 250 people. A series of follies provide spaces for kids to jam, relax, or hang-out around a fire. Located with in the historic bay area mudflats the site design treats storm water runoff through sculptural land forms planted with native plantings.
