Rendezvous Park

Jackson, Wyoming

The Rendezvous Land Conservancy, or “Rendezvous Park” is a 40-acre passive recreation area at the edges of Jackson, Wilson and Teton Village in Wyoming along Snake River. Hood Design was asked to develop an abandoned stone quarry site nestled at the foot of the Grand Tetons. The site intersects a series of ecological corridors for elk and local avian species, includes a portion of a larger river system, and sits adjacent to a national wildlife reserve. In our topographic manipulations we uncovered river rock, which we left on site to make visible the hydrological history.
